Regional show of wines and food.

The Olaria Norberto Batalha will be present on December the 5th in a Gastronomic Show promoted by Escola Superior de Tecnologia do Mar in Peniche. We will be presenting some of our traditional tableware to complete the show of tipycal meals and wines from the West area of Portugal, conciliating all the spirit of a good and traditional meal at a portuguese table. The Morangos com Açucar Club at the Olaria

The Clube Morangos (TV show) passed by our pottery on November the 2nd. The actor and singer Angélico visited us to learn more about pottery, speccially the traditional production of the "piggy money pot". In a very relaxed and funny moment we have showned and explained our daily work. Check the pictures below and the TV show, soon on TVI.

The Olaria Norberto Batalha was at FIA Lisboa – International Handicraft Exhibition on the 24th, 25th and 26th of June in representation of Mafra "district" Durante these days we were able to present some of our products and also the antique art of pottery.

During the first 8 days of June the Olaria Norberto Batalha presented its work at SINTRANIMA, a project that provides children means to understand and experience several professions, inveronment protection and of course a huge play ground where all children could find lots of amusing and fun activities.

Pottery workshop

During the days 13, 14, 15 and 16th of April a pottery workshop took place at Olaria Norberto Batalha. This workshop had 3 swedish participants that experienced the complete process of the pottery, from the preparation of the clay, production of pieces, painting and glazing as well.
The experience revealed itself very productive and instructive, and by the end of the activity the participants were already thinking about the next workshop. For further information please contact. us.
